Management Accountant

Reporting into the Finance Controller, the Management Accountant will take responsibility for a range of commercial activities to drive this Consumer business forward in Reading.

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for a number of activities including leading the month end process, providing analysis to support the management accounts, as well as supporting key clients with commercial activities. As this Management Accountant role will involve working heavily with client engagement and business decision support, you will be building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to highlight new business opportunities and strategies. As well as leading the month end process and compiling the management accounts, you will be providing quality financial analysis and commentary.

Profile

Applicants for this Management Accountant role based in Reading should be newly-qualified accountants (ideally ICAEW, ACA but could also be ACCA or CIMA), with demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of clients. Candidates will be capable of working with non-finance senior stakeholders and have strong communication skills. For the right individual there will be opportunities to progress. There is no need for previous experience within the consumer sector, however this would be advantageous.
