Finance Manager

My client is looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to join their team in Cumbria.

The role is an integral part of the business unit, and this position has exposure to the senior stakeholders in the business.

Description

My client is offering an exciting opportunity as a Finance Manager, here's the main responsibilities:

• Acting as the key point of contact for all financial queries in the business
• Reviewing the monthly management accounts and ensuring all reports are accurate
• Able to work extremely closely with the operations teams to improve processes within the manufacturing site
• Happy to get involved in the strategic plan for the site
• Ready to take responsibility for budgets and forecasts
• Willing to use commercial acumen to advise the business
• Able to develop other members of the finance team
• Confident enough to play an active role in the business leadership team
• Able to drive change and process improvements

Profile

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role in Cumbria is:

• ACA/ACCA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 years PQE
• Able to work at pace in a manufacturing environment
• Able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, and able to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues inside and outside of finance
• Experienced in standard costing and product costing
• A strong finance analyst with experience of budgets, forecasting, and reporting experience
• A team player with a pragmatic and positive attitude
• A skilled qualified accountant with an eye for detail, great communication skills, and a proven ability to add value in a manufacturing business

Job Offer

This Finance Manager position with a leading manufacturing business in North Cumbria can offer a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 with a great benefits package on top.
