about the company

My client is a fast growing lifestyle fashion retailer from the US. A brand with growing recognition among the young generations, they are rapidly growing in the HK and Macau market with targeting around 3-5 new stores opening by mid 2017. They are currently looking for an Accountant to be responsible for their retail business.

about the role

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be the key responsible for the accounting duties for the company's HK and Macao retail business. This will include the full sets of books, month end closing, P&L analysis, cash flow forecast and analysis. As a growing business, you will also be supporting the new store opening projects. On a routine basis, you will also be taking responsibility for the enhancement in internal controls and also liaison with the external auditors.

skills and experience required

• 5+ years of financial reporting and full sets of accounts experience from the RETAIL sector (MUST)
• Dynamic, driven and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Prior experience in handling the accounting and finance duties for new retail store openings
• Fluency in Chinese and English
• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other relevant disciplines
• Full / Student members of CPA or ACCA
