Project Manager (Finance)

Primarily reporting to the Finance Director, the successful person will be a key member of a Finance Project Team working to enhance the underlying processes required to deliver optimum financial control and reporting accuracy. Working alongside the Finance team and IT team members you will drive a step change in the quality of Finance Reporting from a newly installed main business system. You will drive improvements in: KPI and operational reporting Financial analysis Budgeting Accounts Preparation Process Improvements In addition you will provide back up to Finance team members as required - typical back up duties will include: Providing operational and financial analysis to support business units Working with Finance team to produce monthly accounts and related information packs for business unit performance reviews " We are looking for an agile accountant that understands the challenges of implementing not just a new system but implementing change in an organisation " - CFO The ideal person will be a qualified accountant with 4-6 years post qualified experience and strong project management/systems exposure. Initially the role will run for 1 year but given the growth in the business there is a potential to roll on to another project or into the broader financial accounting/analysis team.
