Assistant Accountant

A medium sized organisation on the outskirts of Tonbridge are looking to expand their accounts team due to a record breaking year. The company is very well established and stable and has experienced sustained growth over the past 5 years. Due to an internal promotion they are now looking for an Assistant Account to complement the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a progressive role within Finance.

Reporting into the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties:

- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts

- Accruals and prepayments

- Multi-currency bank reconciliations

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting

- P&L analysis

- Match batch and coding of invoices

- Elements of Credit control when required

- Reconcile the ledgers

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate their experience gained from a similar role, hold or be working towards their AAT and to be potentially looking to continue their studies with ACCA / CIMA.
