We are proud to be partnering with one of the County's highest growth bio-techs. Supporting the Financial Controller you will be primarily responsible for supporting the organisation make more effective commercial finance decision.

Description

  • With support from the Financial Controller, review and adapt the Groups Adaptive Planning model to ensure it supports an efficient quarterly re-forecasting process with inputs from several areas of the business.
  • Provide training to key business stakeholders on the process of inputting into the budgeting/forecasting process.
  • Design and implement automated reporting to deliver key metrics to senior management on a timely basis each month/quarter.
  • Support the Financial Controller with providing data, reports and analysis for the Groups quarterly reporting pack.
  • Manage the Group's Financial Reporting and Forecasting calendar, engaging with key stakeholders in the business to ensure relevant data is gathered and reporting meets their requirements.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partners to tailor data and reporting for key areas of the business.
  • With support from the Financial Controller, work closely with the Accounts Team to ensure transactional inputs support efficient reporting processes.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within Finance, by taking responsibility for improvement initiatives or supporting other members of the team where required.

Profile

  • Qualified with large (top 10) accountancy firm with industry experience.
  • Worked with non-finance colleagues on finance related matters.
  • Expert knowledge and usage of MS Excel.
  • Experience of using ERP & Financial Planning systems.
  • Proven track record of successful process implementation and improvement.
  • Industry experience within a high-tech, fast growing organisation.
  • Experience of using NetSuite & Adaptive Planning software.
