Assistant Financial Accountant

My client is a leading financial services business based in Sheffield. If you have recently completed your AAT qualification and thinking about the next step this role could be ideal for you.
Working within this busy team, you will work as a Scheme Accountant and have complete responsibility for the management of a portfolio of clients ranging from small to medium in size. This role would ideally suit an individual who is currently working in practice and looking to move into industry. Applications are also welcomed for individuals working in industry who want an all round role with the study support and career development prospects. Key responsibilities within this role include:

Production of year-end statutory accounts, quarterly reports and accounts and ad hoc reports and services
Liaison with external and internal auditors and other professional advisors
Actively manage and monitor cash requirements

You will ideally have a good knowledge of financial reporting and accounting and be able to work to tight reporting deadlines. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
