Internal Auditor

Opportunity for a practice trained Qualified Accountant to develop a career in Public Sector Internal Audit Internal Audit in the Public Sector Good opportunity to join a leading Dublin based service provider as a key member of their small Internal Audit team Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, working as part of a small team who are responsible for the Internal Audit function of a leading Healthcare provider. A varied role focusing on risk based financial & operational audits, working to an annual plan Key duties will include: Evaluate existing controls, offer recommendations for improvement Plan audit work according to risk Design audit tests appropriate to the audit risks identified and evaluate results Prepare audit reports Follow up with management on the implementation of actions Review internal controls & procedures Advise management on cost effective controls for new systems Highlight cost saving methods Attend Audit Committee meetings.as required Ideally looking for a Qualified Practice trained Accountant with good audit and accounts preparation experience. Internal audit experience an advantage You will have an interest in working in Internal Audit and in developing a career in the Public Sector You will also need to be pro-active and comfortable working on your own and have the ability to liaise confidently with people at different levels.
