Management Accountant - Springfield Properties

Lusona are delighted to bring to market a role with our retained client, Springfield Properties PLC, who are at the forefront of house building in Scotland. Springfield have delivered strong and sustained growth through the last two decades and listed on AIM in October 2017.  Since the IPO Springfield has acquired housebuilders Dawn Homes and Walker Group. To support further growth this ambitious business is seeking to bolster its finance team. Springfield are looking for a qualified/nearly qualified management accountant to join their team in Larbert.

The Role:

• Preparation of monthly accounts and presentation at monthly management meetings
• Forecasting for the divisions
• P+L budgeting
• Completion of regional accounts (2 regions)
• Reviewing CVRs of sites
• Work-in-progress analysis
• Ad-hoc analysis

Skills:

The client requires an accountant from an industry or practice background who is qualified or is nearly qualified. The candidate is required to communicate with staff at all levels. High levels of organisation are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn quickly and be able to work efficiently and to deadlines. Overall, a completer finisher attitude is key.  Advanced skills with Excel and Navision are essential and knowledge of Sitestream is desirable.
