Treasury Accountant

The opportunity has arisen within the Financial Controls team for a Senior Accounting Assistant within the Treasury function.

Description

• Reporting to the Treasury & Payroll Accounting Manager with day to day responsibility for the company bank accounts and liquidity management
• Overseeing the Cashier function providing support and development to 2 direct reports
• Accurate and timely preparation of monthly accounting tasks
• Reporting and analysis of working capital utilisation from a cash perspective and improving information streams to deliver reliable and accurate cash forecasts for liquidity and planning purposes. Proactively building relationships across teams within finance and the wider business
• Communicating effectively with our banking partners
• Ensuring internal controls and procedures are robust, regularly tested and complied with at all times
• Ad hoc project work and development opportunities as directed by the Treasury & Payroll Accounting Manager

Profile

• Part qualified accountant
• A team player with good communication and people skills.
• An analytical mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of process development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent MS Excel skills, working use of formulas and macros is desirable.

Job Offer

Basic salary between £27000 and £30000 plus full study support and an excellent benefits package
