MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Actively participate in month–end and year–end financial closing process and reporting. ? Assist Finance Manager with Budget and Planning. Collect data, track and report monthly variances. ? Perform ad–hoc financial reports as requested by management. ? Provide internal and external auditors with schedules and reports. ? Review weekly money requests and financial data of Co–packers. ? Collect data from co–packers and Operations team to provide weekly projections. ? Participate in weekly estimate report, identifying areas of improvement and making recommendations. ? Assist the operations department in the creation of foreign shipments and transfers as well as review of foreign inventory values. ? Review and report inventory levels. ? Provide costing and financial analysis of new and existing products. Work closely with Operations and Marketing. ? Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management and actively participating in cost savings projects. ? Work closely with Finance Manager on the Hedging strategy and business needs. ? Collect and monitor data for the Weekly Financial metrics report to assess the status of our business. ? Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting ? Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office ? Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint ? Strong work ethics with an attention to detail ? Good verbal and written communication skills
