Client Details
Our client is a market leader in its chosen field and has an excellent reputation in its chosen field. They are currently recruiting for a permanent Financial Accountant to join their team in Bristol
Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for;
Preparation and management of the monthly reporting for multiple operations
Calculation and settlement of group intercompany charges, group reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting and indirect tax
Liaise with external and internal auditors
Lead a team taking responsibility for their work prioritisation, motivation, performance & productivity.
Proactively deal with customer issues from both external and internal customers in respect of financial information and processes.
Ensure the team's actions are in line with the standards required by senior Finance staff, including, but not limited to: accounting standards, internal and Group requirements (e.g. fast close down).
Reconciliation of the balances & accounts under your control & action remedies for any discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of financial accounts, and the population and analysis of financial reporting data and narrative.
Carry out all tasks in line with stipulated processes, procedures & authority limits. Ensure processes are up to date and effective.
Take responsibility for own learning needs & objectives & those of your team. Work closely with colleagues to progress knowledge & skills base.
Profile
The successful candidate will be studying towards CIMA/ACCA and will be looking to qualify. Experience in managing a team is advantageous
Job Offer
A salary of £30,000 - £38,000 + study support is on offer to the successful candidate plus 26 days holiday + BH
