Assistant Management Accountant

The client are a luxury travel business that specialise in a very specific area of travel and tourism. They are based in South West London (Green Park) and they are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. they are looking for someone professional, with really good communication skills and currently studying towards their CIMA qualification.

The client, are a global company, that specialise in the production and sale of very specific products associated with travel and tourism. They are market leaders in their field and they are looking to grow their finance team, in order to keep up with the rapid growth of the company. They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team (based in South West London - Green Park) to help with their rapid expansion.

Description

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be:

• Update yacht Accounts Payable ledgers with data entry of invoices
• Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts
• Posting of accruals and prepayments
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
• Process payments
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Regular interaction with high net worth individuals
• Liaising directly with Captains and Owners representatives
• Assisting yacht based crew with accounting requirements
• Ad hoc reporting

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be:

• Have experience doing the Accounts Payable
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Exposure to the foreign exchange
• Have done bank recs
• Bright
• Confident
• Have the ability to build key relationships both internally and externally
• Have excellent communication skills
• MUST be studying CIMA
• Experience using Sage X3 is preferred (not essential)
