Description

Key responsibilities in the Financial Controller role include:

• Managing the finance team.

• Production of accurate monthly management accounts to deadlines.

• Maintaining a robust reporting environment, regular reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts ensuring all reconciling items are investigated and resolved.

• Cashflow management.

• Report to the Director of Finance with timely and accurate financial information.

• Manage cash flow, ensuring that funds are available from our financing facilities to maximise working capital without impacting the operational success of the business.

• Monthly reconciliation of accounting ledgers to finance facility.

• Setting KPIs and targets for finance team to motivate and monitor performance.

• Business partnering with cost centre managers to monitor performance vs budget.

• Development of systems.

• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.

• VAT reporting

• Ownership of calculations and analysis of sales and cost of sales provisions.

• Ensuring compliance with all regulations.

• Margin analysis to highlight missing costs and impact of changing sales mix.

• Reporting findings, highlighting opportunities and developing recommendations.

• Assist in the preparation of the year-end audit files and analysis.

Profile

Qualified accountant with broad financial management experience.

Job Offer

Salary of £55,000 - £60,000 plus bonus
