SUMMARY

The CRM Global Business Analystwill be responsible for driving a data–driven customer contact strategy across all touchpoints in an athlete's journey with Under Armour. The primary focus of this role will be digital initiatives, with the objective of growing customer acquisition, retention and loyalty. You will be an agile, hands–on marketer who thrives working in cross–functional teams to bring new ideas to life through iterative testing. Above all, you will be customer–obsessed and relentlessly fueling consumer–led strategies across the organization. This is a global role that will be an integral part of the overall strategic vision for Under Armour's continued growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide analytical support to CRM team including (30%):
    • Design, build and publish reports, dashboards and analyses utilizing the consumer data platform and other reporting and visualization tools
    • Build and maintain SQL–based attributes within the consumer data platform
    • Perform timely & accurate KPI reporting on scheduled basis

  • Answer ad hoc questions and proactively identify opportunities to drive marketing strategies and insights (15%)
  • Surface key business questions and conduct structured analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth
  • Analyze market, competitor, and consumer research to support strategy refinement
  • Partner with team to identify tool and technology to improve analytical capabilities
  • Be a subject matter expert on consumer data platform, gleaning consumer insights and disseminating to the broader organization (10%)
  • Gain deep customer insights to inform audience segmentation and experience design; partner closely with Consumer Insights and Advanced Analytics to consistently measure and test (30%)
  • Partner with internal groups to strategically use customer data and the consumer data platform to grow our business (15%)


COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly proficient at communicating data stories in written and verbal form to wide audiences of varying levels of sophistication
  • Strong team player with ability to build relationships with teammates in remote offices and leverage input from across the organization
  • A strong data–driven, analytical and problem–solving mindset
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects working across multiple teams to execute
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and advanced problem solving skills
  • Well versed in digital media trends and competitors
  • Ability to be agile in a fast–paced, test and learn environment
  • Innovative thinker and self–starter, with ability to thrive in an environment with rapid change
  • Proficiency in database systems, advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Working experience with visualization / BI / reporting tools is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Customer Database reporting and Salesforce Marketing Cloud desired
  • Prefer prior experience with iterative, agile implementation methodologies
  • Prior experience working with a Loyalty program is preferred
  • Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Must have a team–first mentality and strong desire to work collaboratively
  • Must be professionally curious, ambitions, and a fast learner


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2–4+ years' experience optimizing, analyzing and reporting on complex consumer engagement marketing programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Advanced Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Marketing preferred
  • Experience preferred with data query and visualization tools (eg. SQL, Tableau)
