Head of Commercial Estates and Contracts
Liverpool John Moores University are embarking on a major change programme within their Estate and Facilities Management Department. The newly established role of Head of Commercial Estates and Contracts will be accountable for delivering an excellent level of commercial service experience to University stakeholders.
As a member of the senior Estates and Facilities Management team, you will drive all
strategic and operational commercial activities. The Head will take senior leadership responsibility for financial and strategic business initiatives within the Estates and Facilities Management Department, as well as work into the University Executive Leadership Team and Board of Governors.
The University is investing heavily in the physical infrastructure of our estate, and experience of commercial property investment, procurement, project management, and public and private finance would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate is expected to have a degree in a relevant financial/commercial subject area, and a master’s degree or professional qualification.
The successful candidate will be a strong advocate of Estate and Facilities Management both internally and externally to the University. This is a significant leadership opportunity, and for the right person will offer an opportunity to shape a new Department. We are looking for someone with a commercial and entrepreneurial outlook, with a proven track record to income, and secure the best financial returns and benefit to the University.
