This role, Sole Bookkeeper (6 month assignment), is an exciting opportunity to work for a Telecommunications company based in the City of London near to Oxford Street and Baker Street.

Our client is looking for a candidate that has worked in a sole capacity before and is happy to work in a stand alone role.

The position will offer a huge exposure to international accounts and working in multiple currencies!

Client Details

Our client are an international Telecommunications business based in the City of London near to Oxford Street.

They are looking for someone initially for 6 months, with the view to become permanent.

The role will be paid hourly initially with the potential to be paid £40,000 once permanent.

Candidates must be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice.

Description

This role, Sole Bookkeeper (6 month assignment) , involves:

- Reporting directly into the Finance Director

- Reponsible for all bookkeeping duties which includes accruals and prepayments

- Working with their international clients and suppliers

- Monthly billing

- Revenue recognition

- Cash management

- Reviewing different streams of revenue from the different countries

- Managing 2 entities bank accounts

- Quarterly VAT returns

- Journal entries

- Chasing outstanding debtors when needed

- Working on Sage 50

- Working in the technology sector

- Working with multiple currencies - vital to have prior exposure international accounts and multiple currencies (i/e Euros)

- Based in the City of London

- Accountancy focused

- Paid hourly, initially for 6 months

- Working in an office of 25 to 30 people

Profile

The candidate we are looking for, Sole Bookkeeper (6 month assignment), must:

1. Have extensive experience as a bookkeeper and be confident with the required duties

2. Be happy with a temporary role for 6 months and be happy to commit

3. Have exposure to international accounts/ working in multiple currencies
