Assistant Financial Controller

An Assistant Financial Controller role in the UK Finance team. Taking ownership of a portfolio of properties and the related accounting, budgeting & forecasting required.

Our client is a multi-national property business listed on the NYSE, with offices in Mayfair, London. Involved in both development and asset management within the property space, they have a diversified portfolio of commercial and private properties in the UK and globally.

Description

The Assistant Financial Controller will:

• Take ownership of a portfolio of properties.
• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly board packs, including the variance analysis and commentary.
• Set the Budget and Forecast for the portfolio, including an annual budget & forecast and a rolling monthly forecast.
• Business partner with the relevant divisions and group finance teams.
• Responsible for the CAPEX and OPEX analysis.
• KPI Dashboard reporting.
• Ad-Hoc analysis and modelling as required.

Profile

The best candidate for the Assistant Financial Controller role will:

• Be a fully qualified chartered accountant from the UK or internationally.
• Trained in Audit with the Big 4 or Top 20 firm.
• Strong technical & analytic understanding.
• Either a first or second time mover.
• Immediately available or available with a 1-2 week notice period.
