Description

My client is looking to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst into the UK Finance Team to further support the diverse, and fast evolving, requirements of Operations. It is important to note that this is a 'hands on' and high profile role, with the opportunity to influence a new and growing area of our business and develop your path to becoming a business partner.

The ideal canddiate will be someone who enjoys working in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment, has strong data skills and the commercial awareness to understand and help manage a P&L. Further responsibilities will also include:

• INFORM our business through reporting and ROI evaluation

• Management account preparation for this new division

• Deliver weekly contribution reports, operational forecasts and other key management information to key stakeholders

• Ensure Delivery Partner SLAs are measurable, reported on and enforced

• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards

• Assist with production of quarterly budgets, re forecasts and liaise with departmental budget holders to present variances throughout the year

• Work with Business Intelligence to develop reporting tools and drive adoption by the business

• TRANSFORM our business by shaping the strategy

• Build financial models to analyse the impact of new initiatives

• Work with Operations to establish and track operational and other commercial targets

• Provide regular insights to Management and Operations team, identifying risks and opportunities and delivering effective solutions

• Continuously innovate, finding better ways to use information, make clear recommendations on your findings

• Drive a culture of measurement throughout the business, so we understand the impact of everything we do

• Provide analysis and commercial insight relating to operations functions, supporting project delivery, budgeting and forecasting processes and other commercial decision making

Profile

The ideal candidate will have to be excellent inter personally as well having to have experienced the following:

• Expert in Excel

• Experience in financial modelling

• Enjoys working with data and comfortable dealing with messy unstructured data

• A confident self-starter with the ability to think strategically

• REPORTING:

• Experience of building and managing a P&L

• Deliver reports, analysis and insights that drive operational excellence

• Can use data to tell a story in a way that can be easily understood by different stakeholder types

• High level of attention to detail

• SYSTEMS:

• Understands how to automate repetitive problems and tasks, focusing on optimisation

Incrementally improves where possible and looks to consistently advance techniques and abilities

Job Offer

The offer to the successful candidate will be in the region of £50,000-£55,000 and will include a comprehensive bonus package.
