As Assistant Accountant you will support the Finance Manager to provide commercial insight into operational reporting and help improve company profitability.

Description

As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the following;

  • Support with strategy development and subsequent business delivery
  • Drive financial support for monthly control and future planning
  • Cost, expenses and stock management
  • Develop and produce weekly/monthly consistent reporting
  • Continuous improvement
  • Resolve reporting issues and provide guidance on corrective operational actions
  • Actively support commercial finance with budget and forecast process
  • KPIs
  • Adhoc reporting

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will have the following desirable skill set;

  • Worked within a commercial environment previously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to produce and present financial data
  • Work alongside non-financial people
  • Advanced excel skills (pivot tables/vlookups etc)
