Graduate Trainee Accountant

Large, successful business with a long standing history and pedigree in their expert field require a Graduate Trainee Accountant for their finance team. The company has a turnover in excess of 1 billion and trades from over 300 locations in the UK.

The role is varied and includes supporting month end and year end procedures, dealing with corporation tax, balance sheet reconciliations, analysing customer account and credit profiling and a number of other additional accounting tasks . Due to the size of the organisation there will also be potential opportunities to work in other departments and gain a wider variety of accounting experience.

You will need to be of graduate calibre with excellent academics ( 2:1 or above) and have the ambitions and motivation to qualify as an Accountant. You will be intelligent, focused , with excellent attention to detail and be an excellent communicator, who can build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
