Job Summary
The Payroll Officer is responsible for The successful applicant will have:
* 3 - 5 years of Payroll experience
* Working knowledge of MCS Bizpay and SAGE Accpac is essential.
* B.Sc degree in Accounting or Bus. Administration from an accredited University
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
* Ability to process highly confidential information.
* Ability to meet stringent deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the payroll processing cycle.
* Prepare monthly payrolls
* Prepare monthly and annual statutory returns
* Prepare termination payments
* Prepare monthly listing of staff and study loans
* Prepare local disbursements for approval and dispatch
* Prepare reconciliations of accounts payable balances with supplier statements
