Internal Audit Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and cultivate a master inventory of our businesses policies, practices and processes Plan internal client meetings and oversee financial disclosures Assess the effectiveness of existing financial controls and provide recommendations for improvements Create and update internal audit plan Improve customer care by initiating improvements to the financial control and auditing process Perform inquiries and testing as needed to identify and resolve vulnerabilities Develop new audit programs to ensure adequate financial controls Make recommendations to Internal Controls and Audit Manager about software, policies and audit triggers
Skills Advance efficiency in Excel, Word Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills Good time management and organizational skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work on complex and highly varied documents and tasks Sound knowledge of internal control framework and systems of control.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum Level 2 ACCA
Minimum of three (3) years' prior experience in a similar position Previous auditing experience required particularly with focus on controls analysis and testing.
