Description
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Line managing the team of FinOps Assistants (x5)
- Provide and oversee training for the team
- Distribute & prioritise tasks amongst the team
- Provides first level of escalation in case of issues
- Monitors and enforces company policies on e.g. pricing, entity mapping, returns
Daily reporting, including:
- Outstanding items on bank/credit card reconciliation by team member
- Missing VAT receipts by team member
- Supplier 'store credit' available
- VIP client aged debtors reporting
- Processing customer refunds
- Ensuring FinOps activities are completed in a timely manner which primarily involve; Sales order processing and amendments, purchase order processing/billing and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Any other ad hoc, role-related duties as deemed appropriate by your manager
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally have/be:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- ERP system experience (preferably Netsuite, but not essential)
- ERP experience from a company that holds inventory/stock/physical goods (preferably Netsuite, but not essential)
- Knowledge of UK VAT rules and exports
- Proficient in Excel and Google sheets
- Cultural fit for fast-paced start-up/late-stage start-up (resilient, problem-solving, clear communicator, quick learner, etc.)
