A market leader within their field, the business is looking for an assistant accountant to join their finance team based in Leeds.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting in to a qualified accountant, working as part of a fast paced finance team, responsible for assisting the management accountant with the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, Balance Sheet reconciliations, checking control accounts, posting accruals and prepayments, producing weekly profit forecasts, assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an accounts assistant/assistant accountant looking to take a step up in to a varied role with month end exposure. This role will suite an active AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier, or someone qualified by experience.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have assisted with the production of management accounts in a previous role
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have very good verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
£23,000 - £26,000 + full ACCA/CIMA/AAT study support (if required) + free on site parking + contributory pension scheme + private healthcare
