Your new company
You will be working for a well established and highly regarded firm of accountants based in the heart of Wrexham. Over the last year the firm have undergone a period of change and have increased their client base, with growth continuing they are now looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join the successful team they currently have.

Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the completion of statutory accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships. The clients come from a range of industries and include manufacturers, solicitors, and not for profit charities. Your role will require you to prepare both corporate and personal tax returns as well as VAT returns and you will liaise with the clients on a regular basis.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have at least three years experience working within a firm of accountants and must have prepared statutory accounts for limited companies. You should be able to work with a range of IT systems and pick up new ways of working quickly. The role will see you work with both colleagues and clients alike so you must have excellent communication skills. You should also be up to date on the latest legislation on regards to both personal and corporate tax.

The firm work Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17:00 with half an hour for lunch. Flexitime is also in place for those needing more flexibility with their working hours and they operate both TOIL and paid overtime should this be necessary.
