Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with a high profile well established company who are looking for a Financial Controller based in Telford.
The Role
The Financial Controller you will be supplying financial management services to a portfolio of Projects and ensuring that projects function with a suitable suite of financial controls. Supported by a team of 2 qualified and 3 part qualified staff you will be expected to provide leadership and guidance for best practice.
Duties
•Provide financial advice, support and challenge business development activities, including financial modelling.
•Production of financial reporting and forecasting for projects.
•Effectively manage cash flow to ensure optimum working capital.
•Partner with project managers, commercial team and cost centre managers providing financial support and facilitate effective decision making.
•Get involved in monthly business reviews
•Take the lead to recruit, retain and develop employees.
Person specification
•ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with minimum
•Project exposure
•Excel ability sufficient to take part in financial modelling exercises ,pivots and lookups.
•Team Manager experience
