Your next career move
Your new company is a family run group of schools with an impressive Ofsted rating of Outstanding for each school. With beautiful off-site offices and only a short walk from the nearest station, this is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with Sage 50 experience to take ownership over the accounts function for the group, in a role where no two days are the same!
What you need to be successful
The ability to work well under pressure! As this is the education sector, September and May/June are even busier times for the office. You love a challenge so you will take this in your stride, you are super organised and most likely you are a real multi- tasker! You are skilled in prioritising your workload and have the flexibility to go with the flow when things change. You are a people person and enjoy dealing with parents and colleagues and take pride in resolving any issues.
Your experience
As this is a sole role, you will need strong Sage 50 experience so you can make the most of the system and create reports for the Vice Principal and School Founder. You will be the expert in the office when it comes to Sage! Ideally you will have a background working in a school environment however this is by no means essential. Your accounts experience in management reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, payments, expenses, petty cash, journals among other duties, will allow you to make an impact quickly.
If this sounds like you, please read on for the great benefits below!
What you will get in return
The opportunity to really take ownership over the accounts function, working closely with the group Vice Principal, Founder, admin team and Heads of each school. You will have support from their team of external accountants and very friendly and supportive colleagues, eager to welcome you to the team.
Lunch is cooked for you onsite daily free of charge and the office has fantastic public transport links in a great location for shopping and restaurants. This is your opportunity to work independently and really make your mark – what are you waiting for?!
