Senior Finance Analyst

Our client, an innovative and highly sought after market leader, is looking to source a career-minded, commercially astute Senior Finance Analyst to join its talented team. This is a key role for the business, supporting the technology team by providing financial insight and challenge to the senior management team, useful and timely management accounts and analysis and solid support through budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Key duties include:

• Building strong working relationships with the Management Team

• Producing period management accounts, supporting schedules/analysis and commentary

• Supporting the team to produce the annual budget and forecasts and present to senior management

• Supporting with the review of capital spend approval requests

• Maintaining and enhancing controls around project lifecycles

• Producing and enhancing KPI reporting

• Driving development of and producing period MI report

• Building modelling and other financial support and analysis to aid improved decision making

Key skills and experience required:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

• Minimum 2:1 degree and an strong academic record

• Solid experience of management accounts, analysis, budgeting and forecasting

• Advanced Excel

• Logical, self-motivated, proactive with a keen eye for detail

• Confident, credible demeanour, capable of challenging business partners and the status quo where necessary

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building relationships with a range of non-finance stakeholders
