My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join the team due to a period of growth and new exciting projects in the pipeline.
Client Details
This business has a presence in the UK where the Head Office is based, but also across Europe. It is involved within hospitality and catering and is a fast-paced industry. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and a good team player who can be a strong Number 2 to the Finance Director, whilst leading a finance function beneath them.
Description
Day to day you will be responsible for but not limited to;
- Responsible to overseeing the team of the London base.
- Responsible for the preparation of the consolidated management accounts of the 4 entities of the Group.
- Responsible for overseeing the reconciliation of the consolidated Balance Sheet.
- Group reporting responsibility with the submission of the consolidated account to the Parent company on monthly and quarterly basis.
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly Operating Statement and reporting.
- Liaising with international entities for the monthly accounts consolidation.
- Liaising with company auditors and tax advisors for the year-end audit process.
- Responsible for invoicing, debt management and cash planning.
- Revenue cycle control with detailed and accurate review on weekly basis.
- VAT Accounts submission and liaising on VAT matter with HMRC.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Accounting systems.
- Assisting the Head of Finance in on-going projects and ad hoc request.
Profile
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA between 3-5 years PQE.
- Commercial and operational business understanding is essential.
- Strong technical and reporting skills with capabilities to work in changeable and clients facing environments
- Able to work in multicultural environment with previous European exposure
- Experience on hospitality is ideal.
- Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel) is essential.
Job Offer
Salary is between £60,000 and £65,000 (+ additional benefits)
