Senior Financial Accountant

Currently, an excellent job opportunity is available for a Senior Financial Accountant to join an established organisation in Shannon on a permanent full-time basis . Reporting to the Financial Controller, areas of responsibility will include: Preparation of financial accounts for various entities to specified reporting deadlines Completion of all statutory returns in an accurate and timely manner Supervision of invoicing and reporting of same to ensure accuracy Supervision of the accounts payable function Preparation of profit and loss reporting and analysis of the applicable balance sheets Preparation of budgeting and cash flow forecasting Completion of month end and quarter end account reconciliations Regular liaison with relevant colleagues to ensure accurate accounting The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Fully qualified accountant with a third level degree in a business related area Hold a minimum of six years post qualification experience within industry Recent and detailed knowledge of GAAP principles Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Motivated approach to work and strong organisational skills Good communication skills both verbal and written If this is a role that you're interested in, please submit your most recent CV to Laura Bourke for immediate consideration.
