The role of the Group Management Accountant is to provide strategic support and commercial interpretations of financial information. This role is essential to managing the business in a profitable and effective way. The successful candidate will have a drive for commercial finance, using their knowledge and awareness to develop continuous performance improvement.

Description
The successful candidate for the role of Group Management Accountant will be responsible for;
- All aspects of accounting for head office companies
- Preparing the non-financial KPIs
- Business partnering with the Group Function
- Contribute to strategic planning around the business using the information from monthly management accounts
- Reviewing and analysing head office performance and forecasts
- Supporting the planning and performance function
- Maintaining their own technical knowledge and skill-set
- Contribute to Group projects as required
- Monitoring and controlling the budgets of several divisions of the business
Profile
The ideal candidate must possess the following;
- A good technical background and a full ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
- A detail oriented approach to finance
- Be confident in working with people across all levels of the business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and problem solve
- A good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience of project management is desirable
- At least 3 years experience within industry
- A full UK drivers licence
