One of Scotland’s largest and most respected independent Chartered Accountant firms are currently expanding their Insolvency team.

The Company

The firm is proud of their long and successful history of providing expert advice across a number of services, including Tax, Corporate Finance, Audit and Payroll, among others. They also operate a dedicated Insolvency department which provides debt solutions to both consumers and business clients. Currently, this team is going through a period of rapid growth and experienced individuals are required to expand the team.

The Role

Based within the Glasgow office, you will be joining an existing team which is going through a sustained period of growth.This is a client-facing role and you will be comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders from within your portfolio of clients. It is essential that you have knowledge of Insolvency, ideally gained within a similar role.

Carry out the following duties:
  • Responsible for a large portfolio of clients, dealing with client queries and maintaining excellent lines of communication
  • Full administration support and case admin of all client casework
  • Leading personal cases including DAS, Trust Deeds and Sequestrations
  • Adhering to internal and external regulations, processes & procedures
  • Reviewing and enhancing existing polices & procedures
  • Liaising effectively with colleagues and ensuring issues are escalated to management, as appropriate

On Offer

The position of Insolvency Administrator offers a salary between £20,000 - £28,000, dependent on level of experience. Working hours will be 37.5 hours (Mon - Fri) and a flexible approach to your working day may be required to accommodate clients’ lifestyle (potential evenings/weekend work).

To be considered for this role you must have the following experience/qualifications:
  • Personal Insolvency industry experience is essential
  • CPPI/CPI qualification (preferred)
  • Proven experience of providing pre-appointment advice
  • General case administration and asset realisation at a high-volume level
  • Excellent day-to-day use of the Microsoft suite (eg, Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proven experience of selling appropriate financial products and offering advice
  • A full driving license and your own car (preferred)
