Do you want to become a Senior Accountant with a Investment Management/Companies firm? If you have a background in accounting, Robert Half Finance is looking for candidates like you. Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates will need excellent analytical skills and an ability to keep up in a fast–paced workspace. This Senior Accountant role is located in Dallas, Texas within the Investment Management/Companies field. Excellent compensation is just part of the package. Responsibilities – Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. – Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests – Produce error–free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP – Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations – Delegate resources to Ad–hoc projects as necessary – Engage in various department–wide initiatives – Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors – Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process – Assemble monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Interested candidates should email their resume to Chris Willhite at [Click Here to Email Your Resum?] .
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred – Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills – Financial auditing experience desired – Microsoft Excel experience preferred – Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance – Exceptional time management skills preferred – Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities – Prior work done in public accounting is desired – Ability to meet deadlines – Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity – Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement – 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience – Proficient in ERP systems – Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills – Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
