Group Accountant

Currently recruiting a Qualified ACA/ACCA Group Accountant for our client based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The purpose of the role is to manage the external reporting requirements of the group, ensure the group has a strong internal control environment and balance sheet integrity, and to support the Group FC in treasury management and cash flow modelling.This role would suit a first-time mover from practice or someone moving on to their second role in industry.Key duties:Monthly consolidation and analysis of Group results P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash FlowMaintain and report on monthly KPIs Financial analysis to support management reportingConsolidation of the annual Budget and quarterly forecast in accordance of the group timetable Co-ordinate the Group audit with various internal finance team members to ensure preparedness for the year end audit, including investment and impairment reviewsDraft and finalise consolidated and subsidiary statutory accountsEnsure tax packs are completedMaintain balance sheet integrity through programme of regular reviewAssist GFC on cash flow forecastingMaintain holding companies ensuring monthly postings made for external and shareholder loansProvide balance sheet analysis for working capital each monthEnsure consistency and alignment of accounting policies across the groupDeveloping and implementing accounting policies for newly issued IFRSs (eg IFRS 5)Ensure group statutory records are maintainedAcquisition accounting and financial integration of new acquisitionsIdeally you will be ACA or ACCA qualified from practice with excellent knowledge of IFRS and consolidations and strong communications skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management.To discuss this role in more detail please contact Mark Wishart at Pure on
