You have a clear mindset, are structured as well as organized, with a great amount of creativity. You work particularly well in a fast paced environment. In fact, you know "Blitzscaling" and can't wait to put it to practice.
You will be a key member of the executive team and be responsible for planning, forecasting, financial reporting, budget reporting, financial modeling, and strategic decision support. You are ready, willing and able to build out a robust finance and accounting team to support the fliit growth targets.

You will be a key member of the executive team and be responsible for planning, forecasting, financial reporting, budget reporting, financial modeling, and strategic decision support. What you will do
- Partner with the Managing Directors on general and financing strategy, board communications, company culture and corporate development.
- Direct the company's strategic planning initiatives and help to build out strong financial practices.
- Build and mentor the Finance and Accounting team and support scaling of the departments through the implementation of systems, processes, internal controls and policies.
- Demonstrate strong financial guidance. Direct resource allocation, monitor company expenditures and help review and negotiate carrier and shipper agreements.
- Build up strategic pricing capabilities to support our business teams; provide strong guidance on revenue targets and margin development. Support the build up of our delivery network by providing financial and strategic advice.
- Oversee and shape cash flow management; make factoring our strategic tool for carrier management.
- Oversee internal and external financial reporting. Work with external firms on tax and compliance matters. Set accounting policy and ensure the financials are in accordance with German law.
- Help drive effective board meetings as well as manage communications with current and potential investors.
- Implement processes, frameworks and systems that allow us to capture and utilize timely and accurate data across the business to make better decisions.
- Provide support on various operational tasks including profit and loss, financial projections, pricing and valuation models and, company presentation.
- Leverage and enhance your existing network within the financial community.
Who you are
- 4+ years of finance experience in a leadership position.
- Excellent coach to Accounting and Finance team.
- Flexible and operational mindset.
- Previous experience in a startup company is a plus.
- Prior experience of building, developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- A great team player and an open communicator.
- You are fluent in English and German.
- Desire to work in a dynamic start-up.
- Effective resolving ambiguities.
- Great capacity, particularly in an analytical and strategic context.
- You constantly question the status quo and believe there is always a way we can improve.
