Well established pharmaceuticals business based on the outskirts of Milton Keynes are on the lookout for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

We are currently partnering exclusivly with this well established pharmaceuticals business who are based out of their state of the art offices on the outskirts of Milton Keynes. The Financial Accountant will be joining an experienced finance function and will be supporting the non-finance teams and driving business decisions through their work.

Description

Senior Financial Accountant Responsiblities:

• Accounting and reporting of the Company Overheads and SGT product lines within the business. To include monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, annual budget and forecasting processes plus any ad hoc product line support requirements.
• Responsibility for providing monthly reports and support for the Senior management of the business.
• Support the Senior Financial Accountant with corporate reporting.
• Support to the wider business by offering 'value added' innovative solutions to support continual changing business needs
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual consolidated statutory financial statements including reviews of country reporting packs and commentary submissions
• Assisting with quarterly group wide intercompany reconciliations and monthly reviews
• Other ad-hoc statutory financial reporting tasks
• Support to the finance department by offering 'value added' input to ongoing department development

Profile

Senior Financial Accountant Requirements:

• Finalist (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with a good level of working experience in accounting is essential
• Previous experience in a large business processing a high volume of transactions is preferable
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel where intermediate/advanced skills are preferable
• Strong cummunication skills and ability to business partner across the wider business
• The ability to work independatnyly and as part of a team is essentail
