Fast growing private equity backed business in North Warrington requires a Financial Reporting Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join their finance team due to an internal promotion. This company is on an upward trajectory and has growth plans to be a 100 million turnover business in the next few years.
The role is reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager to support on the balance sheet, bank and reporting processes. Day to day duties include full responsibility for the bank , ensuring all direct debits and customer receipts are correct on the system, posting payments and reconciliations. In addition it will involve a detailed analysis of the cash forecast and month end balance sheet reconciliations, providing support with the year end audit.
You will need to have good accounting experience, ideally with experience in cash and banking. In addition you will ideally be AAT qualified or Part Qualified, however qualified by experience will also be considered. Sage experience would be beneficial but not essential.
They offer an excellent salary of £25,000 - £30,000 plus some flexibility in hours
