Assistant Accountant - Temporary - Hitchin (6 Months)
£26,000-£30,000
Our client, an impressive and growing entity, are seeking a bright and driven finance assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will gain a deeper understanding of the month-end process and reconciliations in a well-regarded business.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Completing month end journal & account reconciliation
- Processing manual payments
- Supporting the wider finance team where required
- Processing invoice posting and purchase ledger admin and payments.
- Raising manual invoices
The successful candidate will be a ACCA/CIMA studier who is keen to take on a varied and challenging temporary role. You will be a confident individual, confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business. With a sound accounting knowledge and a desire to learn you will be excited to take on a new challenging role.
A natural problem solver, you will have examples of your ability to innovate solutions. Due to the nature of this vacancy only those who are immediately available will be considered.
