ACCOUNTS & AUDIT SEMI-SENIOR & SENIORS in LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE - JO20419
Accountancy Elite are again partnered with an expanding firm of chartered accountants who are very much in expansion mode and are on the hunt for talented accounts and audit semi-seniors and seniors to join their practice in Leicester.
This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who is looking to work in a practice with a forward thinking attitude and excellent working environment enabling you to excel in the role and in your career. You can be at any of the following stages of experience:
·AAT Part Qualified
·AAT Qualified
·Part ACCA/ACA Qualified
·ACCA/ACA Qualified
Audit experience is NOT ESSENTIAL for the lower level applicants however would be an advantage as it will be around 25% of the role.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
·Preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns for limited companies and groups. Up to a maximum T/O around £80 Million.
·Involvement in all areas of audit work applicable to the candidates capability.
·Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients.
·Involvement in other compliance matters such as VAT returns.
·Preparation of accounts for partnerships and sole traders, draft income tax computations.
·Completion of ad hoc assignments to meet client needs.
·Development of strong relationships with new and existing clients.
·Training and supervision/mentorship of more junior members of staff for senior applicants.
Candidate Attributes:
·All exam levels will be considered however candidates need a minimum of 18 months in practice.
·The successful candidate will be expected to perform audit duties as part of the role (25%) however previous audit experience is NOT NECCESSARY.
·Possess good IT & communication skills.
·Ability to work to strict deadlines and within budgets.
·Positive attitude and problem solving nature.
