Assistant Accountant
Bude
£20000 -£25000
Our client who is an exciting growing national business based in Bude is looking to extend their team with an assistant accountant.
This is a new role within the finance team, where you will be responsible for the day to day management of all ledgers:
* Processing and posting journals
* Working on balance sheets and revenue reconciliations
* Maintaining financial records
* Assisting with month end and year end
* Assisting with preparation of VAT returns
You should be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of Sage, or similar systems
* Experience of balance sheet accounting, reconciliations and VAT
* The ability to be a good team player, and work on multiple projects
* AAT Level 4
This position is within a busy outgoing office in a national company that is growing, with plenty of opportunity to advance your career and work across a wide range of industries including education and tourism.
