iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on an Accounts Assistant position based in Stirling.

The Company

You will be working within a small but talented finance team where you will get the opportunity make a positive impact on the day to day accounting processes and procedures.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone well versed in transactional processing with excellent purchase ledger experience but also keen to gain more exposure to month end and take on additional responsibilities.

On Offer

The position of Accounts Assistant has arisen based near Stirling and offers a competitive salary of £20,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience plus a competitive benefits package including a flexible working arrangement. The office premises are remotely located and has parking available onsite.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties
  • Processing of purchase ledger invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and dealing with any supplier queries
  • Matching and coding purchase order numbers
  • Allocating cash receipts
  • Assisting with accounts receivable and credit control
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Balance sheet control reconciliations
  • Assisting with month end
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, processes & procedures
  • Ad hoc duties

To be considered for this position you must have the following attributes:
  • A minimum of 3-4 years practical experience within a similar finance role finance
  • Exposure to transactional processing within a fast paced & high-volume environment
  • Possibly at early stages of accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Working Knowledge of Sage Accountancy software as well as proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
