This St. Ives based engineering business need an experienced finance professional to join the team to assist in the continued growth and development of the business. In this role as Finance Analyst you will be responsible for the continual budgeting and forecasting processes alongside the production of detailed reports and analysis to drive business decisions.

Description
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Provide high quality, insightful financial analysis and advice to the non-finance teams
- Develop and take ownership of financial modelling & reporting to support and add value in key decision making to ensure overall efficiency and profitability
- Creation and maintenance of detailed and accurate reports at month end
- Have responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Drive process improvements and participate in existing reporting enhancements with the mindset of continuous improvement
- Automation of processes through Excel and the ERP System
- Quarterly forecasting, budget preparation and trend analysis
- Support ad hoc requests and projects as they arise
- Management of the fixed assets
Profile
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for:
- Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Proven experience of working relationships with key stakeholders across non-finance teams
- Experience in commercial finance and business partnering within a fast-paced environment
- Proven organisation skills and ability to drive a process
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written to engage stake holders and teams within the process and across the business
- The ability to influence and communicate clearly to non-finance teams is critical.
- Experienced user of Excel and exposure to a number of systems
