A leading media company are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team in their Head Office in the City. They offer a structured progression path within the company and you will be responsible for providing a professional and timely accounting service. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience and a background within media is essential.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Managing Supplier Accounts split with the rest of the team
  • Maintaining the books and records
  • Processing and tracking business rates, council tax and utilities
  • Processing payment runs
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Ensuring correct coding of invoices
  • Cash book and Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Arranging payment of authorised purchase invoices by preparing transfer documents
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Experience Needed
  • At least 2+years' previous experience in a Finance role
  • Must have media industry experience
  • Educated to Degree level (2:1 or above)
  • Currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good use of Time Management
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
