SF Recruitment are currently working with a client in South Nottinghamshire for an Assistant Accountant to cover a period of Maternity. The purpose of the role is to provide effective and timely support to our clients finance department and working directly for the Finance Manager.
To be considered you should be AAT qualified, or studying towards a formal qualification ideally and have slid working experience in a similar level role.
The key duties for the role are:
- Purchase Ledger - All aspects
- VAT Reconciliations
- Fixed Asset management
- Bank and inter-company reconciliations
- Multi currency account reconciliations
- Support with the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Journals
- Reconciliation of anomalies
As well as relevent experience in a similar level role you should be super organised, able to work with large amounts of data (So Excel skills are fairly important), you are a team player, flexible and willing to help. Immediate start for the successful candidate - great onsite facilities, parking, modern offices, a casual dress code and a range of great benefits.
