Finance Manager

Finance Manager - contract until June 2018 Randstad UK - is multinational human resources consulting firm specialising in temporary and permanent recruitment, including contract staffing of professionals and senior managers. We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity to join Randstad as a Finance Manager, based in our new offices at Capability Green, Luton. As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing two members of the team. You will motivate, support and lead them to success. You will also be responsible for leading, monitoring and reporting the company's financial accounts. Alongside this you will be preparing the management accounts and assessing your team's impact against World League Finance competencies. Key Responsibilities of this role: Responsible for preparation of the management accounts for several business lines with the support of their teamCollaborate with management to develop (standard and ad-hoc) schedules, procedures and systems to enable timely and informative accumulation, adjustment and reporting of financial dataSupervision of all accounting processes for several business lines, not limited to the following:Maintain fixed asset and intangible asset registers, together with calculation of monthly depreciation journalsMonthly balance sheet reconciliations, identify risks and opportunities on the balance sheetProcessing of the corporate payroll journalAnnual journal review and controlManage the month end process, ending with a monthly meeting to discuss results with the Chief Accountant, Commercial Finance Director and CFOAct in a business partner capacity, attend regular operations meetings to enable finance to deliver excellent service based on knowledge of each division, and improve on service and information provision where possible To be successful in this role you will need to: Be part or qualified accountant / QBE (ACCA, CIMA or MBA) Have experience of working in a similar role in a fast paced environment Experience of working in the recruitment industry and\or with large clients If you want to join one of the world's largest recruitment organisations, in a position that will see you engaging with key stakeholders and taking a proactive role in our shared service centre then please do get in touch today!
