Group Accountant - Part-Qualified

My client are a leading £bn technology business, Head Quartered in Slough. The role as Group Accountant sits within a team of 14 and is responsible for performing functions directly related to the month-end accounting close, researching accounting matters and preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. As part of the group it will mean you will have regular interaction with various other members across the business Group Accountant duties: Assisting in monthly, quarterly and year end close including co-ordinating with various team members in order to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results which are required to compile the Company's consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements to be filed to the USPreparation of key numbers and supporting information for the Group's external financial statementsProviding documentation to external auditors to support the audit and review of the financial statements and disclosuresRecording of journals for complex accounting transactions such as intangibles, acquisitions and tax planningPreparing numbers and commentary for key transactions and balancesPreparation of other financial statements and ad-hoc government reporting as required The chosen candidate: This role suits a part qualified accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), who is an active studier. You should have experience within a global/multinational business within month end close as well as cash flows, balance sheet reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
