GO-FOOD - Head of Business Intelligence

GOJEK is seeking a talented, strategically focused analytics leader to drive business insights, deliver business functions-facing solutions, build a data-driven decision making environment as well as in charge of data architecture for GO-FOOD and its derivatives. The leader will accountable for both strategic and analytics projects/implementation using sophisticated analytics techniques to unlock GO-FOOD growth such as funnel drop off analytics or profitability analysis by region to drive recommendation on pricing scheme. The candidate must also have strong influence and people leadership skills to effectively run a diverse team of business analysts, data scientists, and data engineers; drive project prioritisation and roadmap; partner effectively with more large scale of business functions. You will be part of a business thriving to create as much positive social impact as possible for culinary business players including Small Medium Business in Indonesia and become the largest food delivery service in SEA!

Responsibilities

• Identify and translate market opportunities into actionable recommendations to achieve FOOD Group and company OKRs
• Perform analytic deep dives to drive business insights and influence strategic decisions
• Establish relevant reporting for FOOD Group, perform necessary ad-hoc analysis as required to support strategy and analyze performance of FOOD Group
• Build and maintain data foundation relevant for business users across FOOD Group team
• Proactively identify actions to capture value i.e: customer segmentation, retention method, product success metrics
• Directly lead a team of approximately 9 people while exerting leadership and influence across functions and around 22 stakeholders

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and/or Analytics, with experience of taking on roles with increasing responsibility
• Minimum 3 years of Management experience
• Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Experience in startup(s) as well as enterprises who have created solutions at scale is preferable
• Knowledge of BI best practices/methodologies
• Experience with SQL and reporting techniques. Proficient in R and/or python is preferable
• Understand data visualization tools such as Tableau and Metabase
• Communication experience including presentation experience
