Ideal for an early stages ACCA or CIMA studier to join a leading Lloyd's underwriter at a time of strong growth. The role will provide an excellent platform to advance within the company (this vacancy is due to internal promotion). Duties will range from the accounting to trial balance for an overseas subsidiary, responsibility for key nominal ledger accounts for the UK operation, the development of controls around general ledger, producing MI and commentaries on variance analysis and assisting with Lloyd's accounting, The role is excellent to gain a very thorough knowledge of all aspects of underwriting accounting. Candidates must be actively studying and ambitious.
