EMEA AR & Collections Supervisor

(German & Nordics) EMEA AR & Collections Supervisor/Manager Our client is a leading multinational who currently require an experienced AR & Collections Manager to join their German and Nordics Finance team team in Dublin. Reporting to the Senior AR & Collections Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of AR and Collections Analysts and assisting with overseeing the SSC operation in Europe and project managing the integration and re-design of the AR function. Responsible for leading, managing, developing and supporting the Accounts Receivable team for Irish, Nordics and German entities in the SSC you will; Manage the day-to-day operations for Accounts Receivable Shared Service Centre. Assist with the Management of the SSC migration for the AR function Review collection portfolios with credit and collections team to identify potential business risks. Set priorities and strategies to minimize credit risk and drive performance in line with working capital targets. Manage the running and analysing various integrity and month end reports Assist in the Design, Implement AR procedures and polices Testing and implementing new reports and projects Business process improvement is an integral part of the position. Emphasis on improved efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with finance operating model. Leader and proponent of Best Practice in Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Deduction Management. Assist in the implementation of AR policies and procedures Work closely with corporate financial and business support groups (Financial Control, Treasury, AP, etc) in resolving financial and other business issues. Work closely with regional Business Units to resolve disputes, deduction, and other collection issues. Produce and distribute monthly KPI's and reports to Business Units and Management including feedback and commentary on potential credit risk. Requirements An experienced Assistant AR Manager/Supervisor with several years experience in a large SSC/EMEA environment Fluent in German and/or experience in looking after German and Nordics regions Experience of managing/supervising an AR/Collections teams Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education with IICM Diploma or similar a plus Background in accounting or finance field 5 years Accounts Receivable/collections experience Background in migrations and process improvement Must have large ERP Accounts Receivable system Strong personal computer and business solutions software
